Over a period of eight and a half years RATP Dev will support Brest Metropole in sustainably developing its Bibus network, including creating a new network in the autumn of 2020, which will foreshadow the advent of the second tramway line and the BHLS by 2025, along with the energy transition with the renewal of the bus fleet and electrification starting in 2021.

RATP Dev digitizes transport-on-demand services in Mantes-la-Jolie

The service boasts a new booking facility for passengers since 27 March 2019 via a smartphone app and website to supplement the booking system which can be accessed by telephone and e-mail. The solution is based on innovative technology developed by the Yuso start-up that makes it possible to consolidate, book and track journeys in real time with fellow passengers going in the same direction. 

Île-de-France Mobilités and RATP Dev launch service of first electric buses in Paris outer suburbs

As a continuation of the sustainable mobility development objectives set by Île-de-France Mobilités, RATP Group will run the first three 100% electric buses made by Heuliez on the SQYBUS network, the largest RATP Dev bus subsidiary in the Paris region.

The electric buses are recharged at night at the Trappes bus operations centre, which was specifically equipped to house them. The buses have a range of 250 km and can transport up to 85 passengers.

A new look for Rennes bus station

The renovation of Rennes bus station, which is located near the SNCF train station, is part of a vast urban development project. For the past five years, Rennes station has been undergoing a major transformation, and by 2020 it will be the multimodal hub of the Breton capital. The purpose of the work is to support the increase in passenger numbers, particularly with the arrival of the high-speed line (LGV) and the commissioning of metro line B.

Contract renewed for twelve years with RATP Group and subsidiary RATP Dev to operate Téléphérique du Salève

In the course of the new contract the Téléphérique du Salève site will be entirely renovated and will meet Natura 2000 protected area criteria. This is an ambitious project in which Société du Téléphérique du Salève will participate in contributing 28% of the overall amount of forecast costs along with a commercial contribution. The project will be grounded in three major values for the site: Nature, Culture and Leisure.

Since July 2018, Latina’s 125,000 inhabitants have been experiencing an unprecedented form of mobility. With its fleet of connected vehicles, Cilia Italia is offering Lazio’s citizens an urban bus service that is more frequent, regular and secure. A necessary revolution for the city in Italy with the highest number of vehicles compared to residents, who culturally are not adept at using public transport.

Latina is Lazio’s second-largest municipality by number of residents. What are the main challenges in terms of mobility and public transport?
