This second extension is 3.5km long and features 5 new stations. It completes the project launched in 2013, bringing the total network up to 21 stations and 12 substations served over a distance of 18.5km. It now enables the inhabitants of Constantine to link the ancient city of Cirta to the new city of Ali Mendjeli, and connect the capital of eastern Algeria’s four universities.
