RATP Dev hits the Daytona Beach circuit with its largest bus contract in Florida
In the home of Nascar racing in Daytona Beach, RATP Dev USA has been awarded a new contract to manage the Volusia County Transit System vehicle fleet. This three-year contract, which includes the potential for two additional option years, begins on 15 August 2025 and constitutes the company’s largest contract in the state of Florida.
Under the new agreement, RATP Dev USA will operate the Volusia County Transit system known as Votran in providing services including fixed route, paratransit, and an additional new microtransit service. The fleet of 130 vehicles will be operated by a dedicated team of over 320 employees, furthering RATP Dev USA’s commitment to providing quality transit services that enhance quality of life and support local communities.
This new achievement builds on the momentum gathered in 2024 when RATP Dev was awarded new contracts with the Winston-Salem Transit Authority in North Carolina, as well as Visalia Transit in California. This momentum reflects the focus placed on building trust-based partnerships with transit authorities in pursuit of ridership growth and user satisfaction.
