RATP Dev Casablanca, which operates the tramway network in Casablanca, Morocco, launches Trambot, a chatbot to inform and guide passengers during the COVID-19 crisis.

Passengers have many questions about developments relating to the health crisis and need to be informed and reassured. RATP Dev Casablanca has developed Trambot, an intelligent robot available 24/7 on the Casa Tramway website and its Facebook page. 

Trambot has been up since 3 June and answers passengers’ questions in real-time on all of the following issues:

  • COVID-19: symptoms, keeping distances, testing, etc.
  • health measures in place on the Casablanca tram network: tram, equipment and sales office disinfecting, etc.
  • rules for using the tram: travel authorization, masks, limited tram capacity…

  • offer implemented to support lockdown relaxation.

In this initiative, RATP Dev Casablanca once again demonstrates its ability to offer innovative digital services to passengers and help make their daily lives easier.
