Abdeljabbar Ben Salem is Senior Vice President of the Middle East North Africa and Central Asia Business Unit and a member of the Executive Committee. He joined RATP Dev on March 1st, 2022.

He is a highly experienced business and program delivery manager and has more than 20 years of B2B and B2G international experience in the management, procurement and delivery of major infrastructure and transportation projects as well as holding significant P&L responsibility for key delivery business units. His career in transportation started in 2002 with RATP Group in France.

Prior joining RATP Dev and since 2014 Abdeljabbar held various senior key positions with the SNC-Lavalin and Atkins businesses in the Middle East. He was Director for Major Projects and Program Management services, Director of Rail Systems, and the Managing Director of the Infrastructure Services Business Unit.

Abdeljabbar spent a significant part of his career with Bombardier whom he joined in 2006 originally based in France, where he held various engineering and project management positions. Later in 2011 he moved to the UK to lead major bids and proposals for the European, Middle East and African businesses and then on to the Middle East as Head of Business Development for the rail turnkey solutions business.

Abdeljabbar is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, he also holds a PhD in engineering (Machine Learning and Robotics) from the University of Lorraine in France and an MBA from the Alliance Manchester Business School in the UK.
