RATP Dev is partnering the Vienne Jazz Festival for the eighth year running. This is a major institution on the French music scene and takes place from 28 June till 13 July 2018.

Over 200,000 festival-goers come each year to meet the thousand artists performing at four venues. Topping the bill in 2018 are Al McKay’s Earth Wind & Fire Experience, Jeff Beck, Marcus Miller, Selah Sue and Youssou Ndour.

Jazz à Vienne is giving pride of place to comics for the first time thanks to its partnership with the Angoulême Comic International Festival, which means that the poster for the 38th annual event was drawn by Brüno, who authored the series Inner City Blues. Some fifty sheets and drawings specially designed by the artist for the event (Brüno is a big jazz fan) will also be exhibited at the festival.

RATP Dev, through its subsidiary L’va (Vienne Mobilités), is making free shuttles available to festival-goers to help get to the famous venue at the Antique Theatre.

RATP Dev operates the urban bus network for Vienne Condrieu Agglomération, a conurbation with over 90,000 inhabitants and 30 municipalities. It transports over 1.6 million passengers per year across its eight regular lines, school bus services and transport on demand facilities.
