Solution

Since January 1, 2025, RATP Dev has been operating and maintaining the Citibus mobility network for eight years, serving the Grand Narbonne metropolitan area—covering 37 municipalities and over 130,000 residents. This includes:

  • A revised city center network with two-way routes for smoother traffic flow and reduced congestion. Bus frequency will be more regular and consistent across four urban lines and the Sunday service.
  • A clearer intercity and school transport offer, with a reinforced school network increasing from 38 to 56 lines. Improved beach access during the summer and a reorganization of on-demand transport services (Citi’Agglo and Citi’Access) for greater efficiency.
  • Deployment of bicycles across the entire territory: The plan includes 250 rental bikes available for medium- and long-term use, featuring electric assistance.
  • To enhance service quality for passengers, the website and digital application will evolve towards a MaaS (Mobility as a Service) model, providing an integrated experience, including real-time passenger information, ticket purchasing, and Open Payment.
