Solution

The construction of the Western Sydney Airport automated metro line is part of the overall Sydney Metro project, which will revolutionize travel in the city of 6 million people, linking the northwest, west, southwest, and far west of the city.

With this program, which is Australia's largest public transit project, Sydney will have a network of four metro lines, 46 stations, and 113 kilometers of new metro track by 2030. The automated metro system will meet the highest standards in the world, offering passengers a safe, fast, and efficient metro service.

By 2026, the 23-kilometer Western Sydney Airport line will connect residential areas to employment hubs, including the new Aerotropolis, and connect commuters from the new Western Sydney International Airport (Nancy-Bird Walton) to the rest of Sydney's public transit network with the addition of six new stations.

RATP Dev's vision is to provide local residents and visitors to Sydney with an environmentally friendly, passenger focused, and city-friendly mobility solution.
