In Boulogne-sur-Mer, a coastal city in Northern France, the public transport authority (PTA) has reaffirmed its trust in CTB—an RATP Dev subsidiary and operator of the Marinéo network since 2013—by renewing its contract for a period of six years and eight months.

This contract renewal is an opportunity to further develop the attractiveness of the network, the quality of the public transport provision, and the services offered to passengers. Among the announced developments:

  • The Transport-On-DemandDemand-Responsive Transport service will be extended to all suburban municipalities and rolled out to all stops.
  • Starting this summer, the frequencies and timetables of several strategic routes will be adjusted to enhance the service.
  • And there will be more options for active forms of personal transport with the addition of 60 electrically-assisted bicycles to the long-term rental programme. This will bring the overall fleet up to 100 bicycles in 2022.

RATP Dev and its subsidiary CTB are delighted that the Boulogne-sur-Mer PTA has once again placed its trust in us. We put this success down to the operational excellence and service quality that our teams deliver every day. We are proud to continue to support the Boulogne-sur-Mer PTA in its ambitions for the Marinéo network.
