Open Tour, the RATP Group subsidiary and leader of hop-on, hop-off sightseeing buses in Paris, unveils its new livery for the city’s iconic tourism buses after 20 October.

Open Tour Paris has taken a page from national colours and symbols to decorate its 40-strong fleet of vehicles. The first bus sporting the new livery will be on the road starting on 20 October along Open Tour Paris lines. All buses will be progressively redecorated until March 2018.

“As a pioneer in the French capital, Open Tour Paris has been transporting passengers on its double-deckers for nearly twenty years. Updating our colours was a clear choice in modernising our brand and remaining attractive to our international and Parisian customers. We’re also paying a slightly tongue-in-cheek tribute to the hop-on, hop-off buses run by the London-based The Original Tour, another RATP Group subsidiary, which cast a fresh look on the Union flag for its bus livery a few months ago”, stated Open Tour Paris Director Fabrice Bayon.

The new livery will have an exclusive showing at the Bus World trade fair in Courtrai, Belgium on 19-24 October.
