Lorient Agglomération has teamed up with its delegated service provider, RATP Développement, which runs the CTRL network, to continue the dynamic launched by the region to ensure the energy transition.

The CTRL network works today with a fleet of recent buses (combustion engines) ensuring already respectable ecological performance, but Lorient Agglomération is committed to going farther in tomorrow’s energy transition. The conurbation has launched a new experiment with the aim of testing new buses using the latest green technology.

The electric vehicle being tested boasts considerable environmental progress such as the absence of local pollutants and greenhouse gases along with totally silent running which does away with noise pollution.
The new electric bus will be tested between 1 and 17 April along lines T1, T2, T3 and T4 in the Lorient Agglomération network.
