Régionéo, a new rail operator created through the partnership between RATP Dev and Getlink, has announced that it has been pre-qualified in the upcoming tender process for the Nancy-Contrexéville (L14) and Bruche-Piémont-Vosges (BPV) lines, which were opened up to competition by the Grand-Est region (Eastern France).

Régionéo is positioning itself in both projects as part of a consortium with Meridiam and Colas Group.

Harnessing the skills of its parent companies in operations and maintenance of public transport networks and infrastructure management, Régionéo will benefit from the complementary strategic expertise provided by Meridiam and Colas Group, namely in developing and funding public infrastructure projects, and in designing and building transport infrastructure.

The quality and complementary nature of the three partner companies’ know-how will enable the new consortium to meet the challenges of these railway lines with comprehensive solutions — in design, construction, funding, operations and maintenance — developed to address the needs of the Grand-Est region.
