On Thursday, November 30th, RATP Dev, along with the RATP group, had the privilege of welcoming a delegation from the C40, an international organization that facilitates dialogue between 91 cities committed to the fight against climate change. On the agenda: the RATP group's expertise in the field of electric buses, a key mode of transport for sustainable cities.

In 2014, alongside Ile-de-France Mobilités, RATP committed to a major technological and ecological evolution with the aim of having a 100% ecological bus fleet by 2025: this is the Bus2025 plan. This is in line with the 20% reduction targets for greenhouse gas emissions included in the Ile-de-France Urban Travel Plan.

With Bus2025, RATP will profoundly transform its industrial tool (bus centers) and completely renew its fleet. A transition that has already begun with the first acquisitions of electric buses and massive acquisitions of hybrids.

This bold challenge makes RATP a precursor and mobilizes all the skills of the company. Indeed, RATP controls this conversion in all its aspects: engineering, maintenance and operation. A world first for a transport operator and a fleet of this size.

An expertise that the RATP group shared with the C40, committed to a more sustainable city.
