To travel virtually during this period of confinement, Transvilles has created the platform #restezmobilechezvous (#keeponmovingathome) showcasing different online ideas for events and activities, and discover the region in another way.

Partner of the region beyond mobility

Many initiatives have been launched since confinement began by companies, non-profit organisations and individuals in the region to offer services and activities that can be done at home. As a mobility actor, Transvilles launched a website, https://transvilles-restezmobilechezvous.tumblr.com, to connect all these initiatives with the region’s inhabitants.

Transvilles has maintained its mobility service throughout the region since the start of the crisis. However, we do realise that a large proportion of our customers can no longer get to their usual activities. We wanted to offer them a new way of travelling by launching an on-line platform, #restezmobilechezvous, to continue discovering our region virtually.".

- Thibaut FOURNIER MONTGIEUX, Director of the network

Local and national initiatives

The free platform lists multiple initiatives every day including cooking classes offered by the chef at the Royal Hainaut hotel, car repair workshops for healthcare professionals offered by Norauto and workshops on how to make facemasks by the Arcad de Lecelles non-profit organisation.

Many domains are covered: culture, sports, health, creative art, and so on. This collaborative platform allows visitors to suggest their own ideas and share content they find interesting on social networks, for continuous relationship building.

An ingenious initiative that encourages sharing and promotes mobility and solidarity on local territories.
