On 31st January, SQYBUS carried out an autonomous shuttle demonstration with support from RATP Dev and RATP Group for the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines* New Year Wishes ceremony. 

The EasyMile EZ10 autonomous electric shuttle transported guests to the evening event which focused on the theme of the “smart city”. French Senate President and senator for Yvelines Gérard Larcher, Jean-Michel Fourgous, president of the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines agglomeration, Valérie Pécresse, president of the Île-de-France region and of Île-de-France Mobilités**, attended along with Christophe Vacheron, Île-de-France director of the RATP Dev France/Switzerland Business Unit, and Juan Lopez, director of SQYBUS, the largest bus subsidiary in the region. 
 
“This event has allowed us to demonstrate our expertise in innovative mobility to many decision-makers and our desire to participate in the construction of tomorrow’s city along with the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines agglomeration”, stated Christophe Vacheron.

“RATP Dev has worked with RATP group and has already run several successful pilots with autonomous shuttles in France and the USA”, stated Sam Lysons, Project Lead for Autonomous Vehicles and New Mobility. “We have developed solid expertise and hope to implement new projects soon in the region!”  

* The Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines agglomeration includes twelve towns and is home to 230,000 residants. It is located near Versailles, in the Paris region.
