STIF renews all RATP Dev contracts in Paris region

The STIF board approved 12 bus network operations contracts for renewal in the Paris region, which RATP Dev has been running since 2007. The renegotiated contracts will enable STIF and RATP Dev to accelerate the roll-out of network improvements in inner and outer suburbs in the months to come.

In keeping with its continuous improvement approach, RATP Dev has already implemented innovative solutions as part of the Grand Paris development project including real-time passenger information on board and at stops, experiments with electric and hybrid vehicles and the development of a transport-on-demand (TOD) offering. The type-3 contracts taken as a whole are worth a combined total of over three hundred million euros.  RATP Dev operates in the Paris region in the Val d’Oise, Seine-St-Denis, Essonne, Hauts-de-Seine and Seine-et-Marne departments surrounding the city and in particular in the towns of St Quentin-en-Yvelines (SQYBUS subsidiary), Mantes la Jolie (CTVMI subsidiary) and Les Mureaux, where its STILE subsidiary operates the Express A14 lines.

RATP Dev has a local workforce of 1,300 employees and a fleet of 750 vehicles in the Paris region. RATP Dev also operates TOD services for disabled passengers through the PAM 77, 91, 92, 93 and 95 entities, the OrlyVal service connecting RER B line station Antony with Paris Orly international airport and school bus and Noctilien (night bus) services.
