This scope of action represents a major share of the city’s daily travel, with over one million trips every year.

Tram Lyon

The Lyon metro, consisting in four lines including two automated lines, offers high frequency service at 45 stations across 70 km. The tramway, with its seven lines and 130 stations, covers 90 km and efficiently supplements the network’s coverage. The two funiculars connect the city’s elevated areas, while Rhônexpress provides a fast and reliable link between downtown and the airport. Finally, the Navigône river shuttle, launched in June 2025, offers a low-emission electric mode of transport along the Saône.

With nearly 1,800 employees working every day, RATP Dev leverages its expertise to ensure streamlined, reliable and inclusive mobility in Lyon.

Innovation, operational performance and the ecological transition are central to each mode of transport operated, offering passengers a streamlined experience and facilitating the adoption of public transport in the metropolitan area.
