Mathilde is a senior rail operations and safety leader with more than 15 years of experience at RATP Group, covering metro, suburban rail, and infrastructure environments. She has built strong expertise across the full operational life cycle, from design and commissioning to live operations, safety governance, and performance optimisation in complex, high demand networks.

Most recently, Mathilde served as Head of Safety for RATP Infrastructures, where she was responsible for defining rail safety and occupational health and safety policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reporting to supervisory authorities on network safety performance. She contributed to strengthening internal regulations and fostering a robust safety culture across the organisation.

Previously, Mathilde held several senior operational roles on the RER A, Europe’s busiest suburban rail line jointly operated by RATP and SNCF. As Head of the unified operation unit, she led a multidisciplinary team responsible for timetable design, operational coordination, and passenger information, driving service quality and operational consistency. She also led the suburban lines training and regulation unit, reinforcing operational standards and workforce capability.

Earlier in her career, Mathilde managed a team of automatic metro operations experts supporting major projects from procurement and design through testing, commissioning, and operational readiness. She also served as Operations Director for Metro Line 14, overseeing the Operations Control Centre, managing incident response, and leading performance analysis and operations planning.
