Managing Director – RATP Dev Western Sydney Airport (WSA)
Christophe Rambaud is the Managing Director of RATP Dev WSA, leading Operations & Maintenance for the Parklife Metro consortium on the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project, the largest Public–Private Partnership ever awarded in New South Wales. This fully automated 23kilometre metro line will connect St Marys to Bradfield via the new Western Sydney International Airport.
With more than 20 years of rail and automated metro experience, Christophe ensures operational excellence is embedded from the design phase through to delivery—an approach aligned with RATP Dev’s global expertise in driverless metro systems.
Before joining RATP Dev WSA, Christophe served as Managing Director at Transdev Aéroport Liaisons, overseeing the CDGVAL and LISA automated metro lines in Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, transporting approximately 20 million passengers each year. He later advanced to senior roles within Euro Cargo Rail (Deutsche Bahn Group), where he led asset management, maintenance programs, and organisational transformation across a large technical division.
Christophe also spent over a decade with RATP in Paris, managing rolling stock procurement, system upgrades, and automation projects across several major metro lines, including Lines 1, 4, 6, 11 and 14.
His expertise spans automated metro systems, largescale project delivery, O&M strategy, and multidisciplinary leadership—capabilities he now brings to shaping one of Australia’s most significant new transport networks.
