At RATP Dev, we have a strong conviction: there is no separating the success of the business and the fulfillment of our employees.
Our vision is to cultivate our talented people all around the world, and that is where our employer promise comes in. It consists of offering a unique professional adventure that embodies our four fundamental values: Effective, Collective, Humane, Audacious.
RATP Dev’s HR policy is part of an ambitious transformation strategy designed to support the company’s overall performance and strengthen employee engagement.
It is built on a clear vision: attracting, training, developing, and retaining expertise and talent across all our activities worldwide, by offering employee journeys that reflect our values and remain true to our Group employer value proposition.
A program for young talents
Our Graduate Program is a unique career accelerator, designed to cultivate talented young people from the time they finish their studies by offering a global experience.
The objective is to set aside two years to train our future experts and managers in operation or maintenance roles through an immersive journey. That journey is made up of one year in their country of origin, followed by six months at the headquarters, and six months at another international subsidiary.
Alternatively, our VIE program offers another pathway for young talents seeking international mobility, allowing them to work on specific one‑ or two‑year assignments within our subsidiaries around the world, across all types of roles. Finally, each year, all our subsidiaries offer internships and apprenticeship contracts to support the integration and development of tomorrow’s talent and to enhance the attractiveness of our professions.

Inclusiveness, employing women, and diversity in the workplace
At RATP Dev, diversity and inclusiveness are the bedrock underpinning our corporate culture and a performance driver.
In most of the countries where we operate, women make up only a small share of the workforce in the public transit sector. That is why, back in 2018, we decided to put a particular focus on equality between men and women at each stage in their career within the company.
We are actively committed to promoting equal opportunities with ambitious objectives: we aim to reach 25% women in our overall workforce and to exceed 40% women in our management positions.
We pay close attention to the fairness of our processes at each stage of our employees’ careers: recruitment, promotion, performance management, compensation...
We are committed to creating an inclusive work environment that allows everyone to reach their full potential. We affirm our policy of zero tolerance when it comes to matters of discrimination and sexist behavior.
Beyond these specific commitments focused on gender equality, our operating companies roll out lots of initiatives aimed at contributing more broadly to diversity and inclusiveness for the benefit of our employees and the locations where we operate.

Continuous training
RATP Dev places talent development at the heart of its international strategy, enabling everyone to grow in an ever‑evolving environment. Our programs combine innovative training, field visits, immersions, and peer exchanges.
We invest in the training of our experts and managers to support the evolution of their skills, and we offer dedicated development paths for our high‑potential talents, allowing them to fully develop their potential and master key competencies in operations and maintenance.
