RATP Dev is fully committed to developing intermodal mobility in Caen, where it operates two complementary networks. The Twisto network, under contract with the Caen la Mer urban community, comprises three tram lines comprising 23.2 km, 72 bus lines, a self-service electric bike service and on-demand transport solutions. With more than 95,000 trips per day and a customer satisfaction rate of 93%, Twisto is the epitome of efficient urban mobility.

At the same time, RATP Dev was appointed by the Normandy Region to operate the Étoile de Caen rail lines starting in 2027. This future management of the TER rail network will enable efficient connections between suburban or rural areas and the Caen metropolitan area, thereby strengthening intermodal mobility in the region.
Thanks to this dual expertise, RATP Dev is positioning Caen as a model of integrated mobility serving users and the region.

The Twisto network brings together all of Caen la Mer's transport solutions to offer smooth, accessible and sustainable mobility. It is based on a central tramway, a bus network that covers the entire metropolitan area and a comprehensive bike offering that includes self-service, long-term rental and secure shelters. Together, these modes of transport complement one other to facilitate everyday travel and strengthen intermodal mobility throughout the region.
