RATP Dev operates the automatic shuttle Orlyval, a key link between Orly airport's two terminals and the Parisian multimodal subway network.

Brought into service in October 1991, Orlyval (99% RATP Dev owned) is a light metro on rubber tires.

For passengers landing at France's second biggest airport, it provides safe and rapid access to the heart of Paris and the entire regional network.

Every five minutes at peak time on average, the two-carriage trains offer a reliable alternative to other means of transport relying on the often congested road-system.

Recent investments made by Orlyval Services (OVS) have made the shuttle even more successful: since 2000, usage has increased by 8 to 10% a year.
